The family History and cuisine

Our Riondet began in the summer of 1978 with our father Ivano, who, as a young man in his twenties, embarked on his bar/restaurant adventure aided by his grandmother Maria, who supported him by working in the kitchen.

In 1980 Dad Ivano married Mom Paola Collomb, a recent high school graduate who, until then, had worked with her parents and sisters in the restaurant La Lisse.

Today, with our support, we have been carrying on Lo Riondet for over forty years, maintaining the tradition of genuine and simple dishes typical of mountain cuisine.

The family has always been the soul of this house for us: the generations follow one another, with the enthusiasm of us children, trying to improve the quality of the offer and always maintaining the traditions of La Thuile Valley.
